For generations, the NAACP has fought to secure political, educational, social, and economic equality. In Rockford, that mission continues through local leadership, community advocacy, education, service, and organized action.
Justice in Action.
The mission of the NAACP Rockford, Illinois Branch is to help secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights for all people and to work toward the elimination of racial hatred, racial discrimination, and systemic barriers that harm our community.
We believe Rockford is stronger when justice is protected, families are supported, students are encouraged, voters are engaged, and every person is treated with dignity.
